UOB Privi Miles American express
First Look:
If you are looking for the highest point earning Air-mile Card out there, then this is it, the UOB Privi-Mile American Express card. It gives you 1.6 Airmiles per S$1 spent locally and 2.5 Airmiles per S$1 spent in non Singapore Dollar globally in anything you pay. But there is a small catch, this is an American Express Card so expect some hiccups at certain merchants. Usually small and medium size merchants don’t accept Amex. But nothing is perfect, even for this Airmiles Card King. Simply have another airmile card to back you up, and you have nothing to worry about most of the time. Also, UOB occasionally have promotions giving out 3 Airmiles instead of 2.5 for non Singapore Dollar Transactions. Where to use this card? Anywhere that accepts Amex. Simple as that. Airmiles/Points: 1.6 Airmiles in Locally in Singapore Dollar 2.5 Airmiles globally in Non Singapore Dollar Main or Secondary Card? You can use this as your first card, but never head out without a backup card, like I said before, some places don’t accept Amex. Possible Combo: Since this is Amex, try to have a Visa or MasterCard to back this up. (Clicking the images will bring you to my reviews for them. These are not ads) Final View:
This is a generic air-mile card which gives you great air-miles everywhere. Just watch out and remember to always have a Visa or Mastercard to back you up. |
